In this year`s European Congress of Radiology, which was held on 13th-17th of july in Vienna, research results from EbreastII activities were presented in two oral presentations and one poster (Topics are outlined here). Our project group was represented by Mrs Eija Metsälä from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, who is also our project`s scientific lead.

Our project group finally had a chance to arrange face-to-face meeting after pandemic. It was held in Oulu, Finland on 9.05 and 10.05 and was organized by our partner, Oulu University of Applied Sciences who welcomed the project members warmly and were wonderful hosts. Besides the two days of meetings the group also had a chance to go on a campus tour and enjoy a delicious dinner.
Project group`s second transnational 2-days meeting, organized by Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, was held via Zoom on 22.09-23.09. The meeting days were full of interesting and productive discussions. Main topics included the state of our research activities; overlooking at the learning modules together, to avoid possible overlaps and unifying the phrasing of knowledge, skills and competences as well as level of learning outcomes according to EQF; discussions regarding issuing certificates to the learners, design and layout of materials; suitable assessment methods etc.
Summer is nearly gone and our project team is continuing the work! Project is in it`s active phase of starting to create evidence-based learning materials and works towards other aims. Team meets several times a month via Zoom to share ideas and progress.
First steering group meeting of the project took place at 21.04 via Zoom. The group consists of outstanding experts from different fields (Expert group) and their feedback to the project`s development is highly important for succession. First meeting was mostly an introduction and getting to know each other, but second meeting, which is planned in september, will focus more specifially on learning outcomes of the modules.
We are glad to report that covid-19 has not interfered our project`s progress and the team works tirelessly.
